Jon's house will be on television! On HGTV-Offbeat America due to be aired Sunday, January 22 at 6PM (I think that is Eastern Standard time).
Also some brand new photo tours of the house over on the website.

Jon gets all the comments direct to his email (I do not get those emails, just him), and as he and Jami get comfortable with computers, livejournal, and their new digital camera--- we'll likely see some fun posts with pictures sometime soon. October 23, 2005 at Wentworth by the Sea in New Castle, NH, "Dancing with Yellow Chair" will be "on the block" for the tenth annual NH Furniture Masters Asscoiation auction. Link to www.furnituremasters.org for details. Collectors; be aware the auction process offers incredible prices on Jon's fine art furniture and that investment oppotunities abound.
The League of NH Craftsmen is sponsoring an Open House/Studio for several NH artists, including Jon Brooks of New Boston, NH November 11-13, 2005 (Fri., Sat., Sun.). This will be an opportunity to view the house, grounds, and studio, and walk away with some fine art at affordable prices. Currently Jon is working on of one-of-a-kind sculptural ladders (approx. 65" X 24" X 2") and dogs (approx. 10" X 18" X 10"). There's also talk about Jami recreating Jon's design for ladderback earrings and pins. You will not want to miss out on this. Set your calendars; Nov. 11-13th.
Coming publications: The October issue of NH Magazine will run a feature story on Jon Brooks and his relation to wood, art, and nature as a way of life. Detailed photos of Jon and Jami's home, animals, and peaceful surroundings will feed you visually as author John Walters feeds your mind and soul with his accompanying prose, a treat you won't want to miss.
